As far as the camera goes, I have two suggestions. The N97 is a phone, not a camera. And while it is a great device, like my N95, I still desire better cameras. So my two suggestions are a Canon Elph and a Sony Xacti. The Canon takes video and fantastic photos, and Canon's are especially great at low light (ie indoor). The video is not bad at all, but it is an add on to a still frame camera. The Sony Xacti takes photos, and fantastic video. For links to the Sony, see a couple of posts ago. I've had a Canon and loved it. My girlfriend has one and she loves it. I have several friends with Xactis and they love them, in fact, Amazon sent me an email this morning that mine is on the way.
