As a female, I have an added worry with putting my real name all over the internet - weirdo stalkers. I think girls have to take their safety into consideration as well. Having a small baby at home, it's just one more thing I don't want to worry about right now. I'm going to buy my name up, don't get me wrong, but I don't think I'll be branding with it at the moment.
